TN Bat Tracking
During our second year of following Indiana bats out of hibernation from northern Tennessee, we tracked one bat approx. 60 miles north into Kentucky (just south of Danville). She used a dead tree just south of Yosemite, KY on her way, but then we lost her signal due to weather. As of today (9 April 2010), Gumbert is flying solo using predetermined transects to attempt to locate the signal again. We're going to put two more transmitters on Monday evening and try to track bats who stay in TN. :)
