Ohio River Mussel Survey

In August 2008, Copperhead Consulting was hired to assist in a mussel survey of the Ohio River near the Paducah waterfront. Located in McCracken County, KY near the confluence of the Tennessee and Ohio rivers, the project consisted of 4 days of diving along 10 transects deployed in the project footprint. A total of 500 mussels of 21 species were located, processed, and released during diving activities.
