Price Sewell
Mr. Sewell joined Copperhead Environmental Consulting in February 2006. With twelve years of experience with ecological surveys and project management, Price has gained experience in a wide variety of fields. His primary focus has been in Section 7 Endangered Species surveys and in agency coordination and permitting applications associated with Waters of the United States surveys, including extensive work with both streams and wetlands. His field expertise includes the identification of fish, freshwater mussels, bats, reptiles, and amphibians. In addition to field work, Mr. Sewell has conducted GIS ecological impact analysis for large scale transportation projects.
Because regular participation in the scientific community is of great importance to Copperhead Consulting, Mr. Sewell’s volunteer work for Kentucky Fish and Wildlife’s Indiana bat hibernacula surveys and his regular assistance with student research projects fits in well with our company vision.
When time allows, Mr. Sewell also conducts educational programs for local schools, scouting troops, university classes, and nature parks to help raise awareness of ecological principles and to promote responsible ecological stewardship.
